Hi guys, I have just bought an intel imac G5 17" isight version but the screen has broke on it. Is it possible to get an adapter to output onto a VGA LCD or TV?

I have attached a picture of my ports available, also I am in the UK if that makes a difference at all.

Thank you,
James

The video out port seems to be a mini-DVI. With the right adapter you should be able to drive a VGA or DVI monitor.

You should be able to pick up a mini-DVI to VGA adapter cable for around £10 I think.

Its the one on the right a mini DVI port, so you need a Mini DVI to VGA adaptor

That adapter is the right type.

It's probably obvious because you can see it is very short but bear in mind it is an adapter only so you still need a VGA cable to connect to the VGA monitor.
