- 13" MBA 2011, 1.7 GHz i5, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB
Finally made the first move and got my wife a factory refurbished 11'' MacBook Air.
1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5
11.6-inch (diagonal) high-resolution LED-backlit glossy widescreen display
4GB memory
128GB flash storage
Thunderbolt port with support for up to 2560-by-1600 resolution
FaceTime camera
Intel HD Graphics 3000
Migrating from Linux is a bit of a chore. I had all of the back-up drives formatted in ext4. There are workarounds, but the easiest way that I could come up with was to reformat one of the drives in FAT32 and use that to transfer all of the files to the MBA.
I formatted the 1TB drive to HFS+ and I'm using that one for Time Machine back-ups. I like the new Mac, but I'll be glad when the heavy lifting is done.
