Transferring Podcasts to iPhone

I downloaded a few podcasts directly from their website. I have them in iTunes and want them on my iPhone. When I select them and try and drop them into my iPhone it won't let me. What can I do to fix this?

Probably because that's now how you sync podcasts (or anything else).

When the phone is plugged into iTunes, select the device, navigate to the "podcasts" tab at the top and add your selected podcast to those that should be synced to the iPhone; then sync.
