Hello,
Here is my situation:
1. I have an iPhone 3GS that is set up to sync with PC
2. This PC is conked and is not available for any further back up of iOS upgrades
3. I bought an iMac and wanted to move my music files from iPhone to iMac and upgrade my iOS
When I connect my iPhone to this iMac it offers to upgrade the iOS version but at the cost of all my music and other media files.
Obviously the suggestion is to upgrade the iOS on the older PC where the syncing was set up and since I do not have that PC available anymore, neither can I back up my iPhone data to the iMac nor I can upgrade the iOS.
The current version on iPhone 3GS is 4.5.X.
Any thoughts/tricks to overcome this challenge would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks... J
