iPod refused to accept big transfer ...

I tried to get my iPod to accept a big transfer of Podcasts, but the transfer was too big. A message came up telling me the transfer could not take place; there was another message which (I think) said something about denying further transfers. I ticked "yes".

Then I went to my MBP and deleted many of the new podcasts to bring the transfer down to a manageable size. However, the iPod will now not synch any podcasts at all. I suspect the problem came about because of my too hasty ticking of "yes".

Can someone pse tell me how to put things right?

Responding to my own question in case it's of help to someone.

I had not ticked the SYNCH button in the Podcasts section!

All is now OK
