ilife

My New mac dosent have ilife so I searched for it and found it in Apps and tried to acccept it but it says it is being used on a nother device namely me ipad..I thought imovie came as standard...can anyone recommend a free editing program for the mac so I can just get on with my project???

All new Macs come with the OS X version of iMovie, Garageband and iPhoto (collectively known as iLife) included. If you are certain that yours did not, return it.
