Mountain Lion will allow Screen Scaling for Retina displays....

Any word if this will be implemented for other, non-retina displays? I really, really would like this...

I suspect the screen scaling option will be for the Retina display only, but since we don't know for sure what will be available in Mountain Lion, we can only speculate. Wait until the end of July when Mountain Lion goes live and then you'll find out.
