Putting image library in searchable browser...

Hello, first post from a new user so be gentle.

Bit of a mealy-mouthed title. To explain further we have a pretty large library of purchased images where I work and I want to able to search through them in pretty much the same way you would on shutterstock, itstock etc.\

Is there software that would allow me to do that, ie tag photos with keywords and such like.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

What about Picasa? - fast, good search, tags, keywords, captions, works just by pointing it at your existing file/folder structure

Welcome to the forums.

I have no experience with either of those Applications, my own usage is management of personal photos. However, we do have some photography professionals on the Forum, perhaps one of them can make a reccomendation.
