This has been happening for a while and I haven't been able to find a fix anywhere. Everytime I delay a time machine backup and get the notification that time machine backup is delayed by 10 days, the icon on the menu bar disappears. It's still there because I can click the space and the menu opens but the space where the icon used to be is blank! The icon reappears after I complete backup. Strangely, I click on the lock to prevent changes but everytime this error happens, the lock is automatically opened!
The second error is with the new itunes (10.6.3) - it's been crashing often and when I click "force quit", the icon next to itunes is missing!
Please help!
