Not sure if I'm allowed to talk about this, but it works just fine on the older G5's. Works great on my powerbook too. Mods please feel free to delete this if this discussion is not allowed.

That's why I have a remote. You can use salling clicker and use your bluetooth phone for the remote. You can also use the keyspan remote for itunes and program it to work as the remote as well.
