Hi All,

I seemed to have buggered up my user accounts on the mac pro and now i can only login with a staff account. I know whithi unix there are commands to change access status chgrp and chown but cannot recall the syntax. If this wont work how do i restore my accounts?

I am new to this and need two accounts. One for my work domain and one as administrator for the mac.

Please help

Thanks

How did you mess them up, did you rename your admin account in the finder, or delete it

I created the account as 501 account then it renamed my admin account group to the staff account name. Now i cannot open system preferneces or anything . All i can do is logon as the staff user with limited priveledges....i know i can fix it somehow from the command line but cannot remeber the command lines.
