I have an old G5 desktop running 10.5.8 and it has two 500 Gig HD's configured as RAID-1 (mirrored). The G5 is connected via Ethernet to Netgear WNDR-4000 wireless N dual band Gigabit router. I rarely use the G5 anymore, preferring to use my newer MacBook Pro running 10.6.8 from another room.
How can I use the G5 as a network server so that I can access everything on it over my WiFi network and also use it to backup my MacBook Pro over the WiFi network?
