password protect iPhone files

iMac-21.5"(2017):OS Catalina 10.15.2 IOS13.3 iPhone 8+ iPadpro v2
I use dropbox to share files between 2 Mac computers & 1 iPhone. Some files are word/excel files with password protections. How would I view such files on iPhone?

Unless I'm misunderstanding, if the MS Office files are protected by a password, you'll need to enter the password on your iPhone in order to view them. Of course you also need an app on your iPhone that can view MS Office files.

What I needed up doing was to create the docs in PDF and then add password via acrobat since I had no problem opening a pdf with iPhone. The files were static anyway so any editing concern is unfounded.
