Norton Anti-Virus

Just installed Norton Anti-Virus software and can't activate auto scan because it says 64 bit has to be changed to 34 at restart. I don't know where or how to reset that.

You can start by removing NAV which is known to cause problems and slow the system down. If you wish to install AV software, install the free ClamXav which does not interfere with the system nor does it cause slowness.
