macbook pro acpi error

15" MacBook Pro 2.6 GHz i7
I just purchased a macbook pro that has OS X Lion 10.7.4. I was able to boot on to an xp install disc but it errors and says i need to disable acpi. any ideas on how i can fix this. I already tried pressing f7 to disable but this did nothing.

What kind of XP install disk? There are only two kinds that will work with the Boot Camp assistant: A genuine MS full install SP2 or 3 disk or an OEM System builders full install of XP SP2 or 3. Any other type may not work.
