Hi,

I'm sorry if this is the wrong sction but I was unsure where to put it.

Anyway, I have a PSP and I'm having problems getting files to delete when I connect it to my Mac. When I want to delete files by moving them to the trash and then after disconnecting my PSP from my Mac, the PSP doesn't show the deleted files but the memory is used up on the stick and cannot be deleted. I know i can delete files on the PSP itself but it's a lot easier to do all the adding/deleting on the computer.

I assume most memory cards work the same so is there any other way I can delete files? I have heard this is a specifically a Mac problem and as I can't get any answer from the mulitple PC users on various PSP forums I was wondering if you guys could help.

Thanks for any help.

No, it's a hidden folder.

Just select the disk in the finder, then select the trash can in your dock, right click on it and select 'empty trash'.

The space should be freed up.

Glad to help, so here's a bonus:

You might see all sorts of additional files that start with a "." on your psp (i.e. .songnamexy.mp3).

The are so called 'ds_store' files. You can download a number of tools to automatically clean them for you. Search for ds store clean on versiontracker.
