Does anyone have a solution to iTunes hanging for long periods of time. I believe it is another app or software program that is causing the problem but have not been able to isolate. I am running a 4 month old Macbook pro with 10.7.4 and all the latest updates for software and apps. When I open iTunes, it is normal for 5 seconds and then freezes. The cursor is the only active thing on the screen but it takes 5 minutes with a silent click for anything to respond. That is how I have to close iTunes down. The minute it closes everything is back to normal. Help!

Sounds like you have downloaded some add-on to iTunes that is not compatible with the new version.
