Hi guys,
I have an external AcomData 80gig USB 2.0 hdd, bought last summer when i was in california. I had used it on my WINXP, it was working til i upgraded it to WINXP PRO. It doesnt work on any of my Windows based laptops, i researched it and it says it can work for MAC OS 8.5+ So i hooked it into the Mac Mini of mine. Nothing. I look under the Sys Prefs and shows nothing but the internal Hdd.

I looked on ACOMDATA.com, nothing there helps me. No Drivers or anything.
Can Anyone help me out?

Thanks

The Model is HD080U2E3-72

Appreciate the help

Don't forget to check the cable. I had the same drive but in the firewire version. it failed jet after a year of use. Hopefully that is not the case for you.

ended up being the IDE-USB converter card located inside the drive. i removed the IDE drive from the enclosure and bought another external enclosure and it works perfectly
