Hello,

I've just upgraded to Snow Leopard as I'm soon to be upgrading to Lion.

However my concern is that every time I download a file, the date stamp on the file in the download folder is wrong - by years. If I download a file on June 14, 2012 the file will be date stamped May 3, 2010.

Any thoughts or advice will be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

G'day and we;come to the forums.

There are two lists of dates in your Download folder. First date is the dater the application etc was last modified, and the second the date you downloaded it. hen the Download folder opens, is your window large enough to show both>

I can only see the column "Date Modified" no matter how much I stretch out the Finder Window.

However in the recent past, any file that I would download - say a Word file or a PDF file would be at the top of the finder window if I clicked on "Date Modified" with the current date that it was downloaded. Now if I download a file it back dates by 2 years.
