27" iMac mid-2011, ipad.Air 2', iPhone 8+.
New to Apple products. Got an 27" iMac few weeks ago. Tired of dealing with viruses and systems freezes.
I use Word Perfect Converter to view my Windows Word Perfect documents, but it tells me it cannot run with Sheep Shaver running. Do I need Sheep Shaver at all? I don't run Linux or any thing else I can think of that would require me to have Sheep Shaver on my computer. And...How can I remove Sheep Shaver?

Open Office and LibreOffice both can open Wordperfect documents. And since they're free, download one and give it a try. Here's the LINK to LibreOffice.

The honor is all mine, pig003. chscag thanks for the info. I will check those programs out.
Still puzzled over Sheep saver tho. Is it something I need on my iMac ?

Not if the Mac is as new as your thread states. SheepShaver was a 'work around' the problem of installing Classic Operating Systems such as OS 7, 8 and 9 on unsupported computers. Have a read of this:-
