Ok, so I'm thinking about buying the new MacBook Pro with Retina display but have a few questions/concerns:
1). If you buy the base model at $2200, can you upgrade the memory at a later date? Does it have regular memory modules that you can slip in or is it soldered to the main board?
2). Can you replace the hard drive with a conventional 2.5" hard drive at a later date if you want i.e. a 1TB hard drive?
The new MacBook is pretty spendy, so I'm wondering if I buy the base model now and upgrade later when I have the cash or is it impossible and I'm just better off forking over the cash now?
