So, I bought a IMac from the computer teacher at my school. It's in great condition. It is from mid-2006, so it has some years on it, especially since it was used by hundreds of Junior High kids. I thought i picked a great one. I was wrong. One of the kids must have snapped the end of something into the headphone port that acts as an optical output as well. I have tried the superglue and toothpicks, and the end of pens. None of these remedies work. I need something that will get the darn thing out. The internal speakers won't work, and i can't switch to them from the system preferences. Gah! the thing won't even budge.
