Hi all,
I recently upgraded the OS on my Macbook to OS X 10.7.4. I can not open any PDFs in either Firefox or Safari. I've downloaded Adobe Reader twice but nothing works. Does anyone have a work around for this problem?
Thanks,

Safari can open PDFs with its built-in PDF viewer. However, Adobe Reader installs its own plugin which supersedes Safari's PDF functionality if it is selected in Reader's preferences. Firefox has never had native support for PDFs (a plugin is in the works though) and it can't use Reader's plugin.

What happens when you try to open a PDF in Safari?

The Adobe Reader may have removed or replaced Safari's ability to display PDF files within the browser. Try removing Adobe to see if the plugin to Safari will resume working.
