Apple Mail

I have just added my Telus email account to Mail on my iMac and am having trouble getting the messages downloaded from Telus Webmail. After getting mail from Webmail I have to go to the Telus webmail page and delete it manually.
Any suggestions?

Do I understand correctly that Mail is getting the messages as you want it to but once read they are not removed from the server? Check the folioing setting in Mail:

1. Open Mail preferences and go to the accounts section
2. Select the account that is giving you problem then click the Advanced tab on the far right.
3. Check to see if the Leave messages on server setting is as you want it. If not use the drop down to change it.

BTW Is that by chance a POP account? E-mail is often easier to keep in sync when it is using IMAP,
