Screen works but colors off and at certain angles is fuzzy

Ok,
I dropped my 2009 MBP15 on the corner about 10" to a concrete floor.

It works, but the screen is off color and depending on the viewing angle whether the screen has fuzzy outlines.

Is it just a contact that is loose? Can I open it up and check without much difficulty? Any suggestion for my baby?.....

You can certainly open it up and check for loose cables and so forth, but it sounds more like you damaged the LCD itself. One way to check it out is to attach an external monitor or TV and see what that looks like.
