Amazon.com has, at least to me, an unusually good sale on iBooks.

$900 - $100 mail-in rebate on the normally $1000 model ($950 educational price)... plus they throw in a free after-rebate mighty mouse.

Is this a sign of oversupply of iBooks, a sign of soon-to-come replacement leaving Amazon trying to clear out their stock, or is this not that unusual for a holiday sale?

There is nothing shocking or extraordinary about that deal. I would say that you are reading into it just a wee bit too much. :black:
