When burning DVD with Toast Titanium from .avi file I get the video portion but I am not getting the audio portion of the file on the disk. Any solution will be helpful

Toast uses Quicktime to recorgnise video formats, so it the audio or video doesn't play in Quicktime player, then your are out of luck.
Well, not quite. Download Perian, which adds to Quicktime's codec support. If it plays well then, then it should work with Toast
