Hi
Will soon be making a fresh install of OS X Leopard on a Macbook as i will be replacing the Hard Drive. When installing OS X on the new Drive where will the OS and Apps need to be located ? Also where should all personally saved DATA (Music Movies Photos Documents) be placed ?
Will i need to create a partition and place the DATA on different volumes ? I'm aware i need to back up all personal DATA before switching Drives (Will be using Time Machine for this) but do i back up the whole of the Macintosh HD or only sections.
Or will all this be done by default upon guided steps ?
