Forwarding phone call to computer thru internet?

Just moved into a new place and I get horrible reception in my office. I wanted to figure out a way to forward my iphone to my computer so I could make and answer calls through the internet. Is this possible? Is there an easy to way turn it off and on? Also is there a 'regular phone' type device that I could plug into my computer to talk on?
