An image claiming to show specifications for an unreleased 13-inch MacBook Pro shows it equipped with an Ivy Bridge processor and USB 3.0 ports, but without a high-resolution Retina display.
As someone that has not much positive to say about MacBook Pros with retina displays and no ability to use a reliable Internet connection, this would be good news to me.
Apple Insider suggests this might be for the bottom level MacBook Pro (which I guess would be similar to when Apple sold the White MacBook alongside the newer models).
Still, I don't buy it. My projection (or SWAG) FWIW is the bottomline MBP will have 64GB Flash Memory (like MBA) along with a 500GB HD, no Optical Drive and no Ethernet.
