I have a PPC. Last night when I was on in it, it frozen up on me & the screen became funny ( looked pixelated) so I restarted it. Now when I start up my computer, the screen still look pixelated & it won't go pass the grey apple screen. Is there anything I can do to fix it because I have a lot of stuff that i need on it. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Boot from your install disk and partition the hard disk so it leaves your files on the other partition and you can access them after you install OS X on the other partition.

To get your files, I recommend you use another Mac and a firewire cable and start your G5 in Firewire Target mode:
How to use and troubleshoot FireWire target disk mode

Don't mess up your hard drive - you can always take it out and put it in an external case to be read by another Mac
