I changed my password (via administrator) because I had forgotten the old one.
Now, the keychain pops up all the time, asking for the old one. Which I don't remember. If I try to change it, it asks me for the old one. Is there any way - that is comprehensible to a non-geek - to get out of this? All I want is for the prompt to stop!
Surely this is a simple and commonly experienced problem, but whatever I read in "help" IS NO HELP. Of course, that is always the case: it directs me to something I can't find or gives me instructions that I don't understand. This is very frustrating.
Perhaps I could simply eliminate keychain altogether?
I am open to suggestions!
