Itunes Accounts

I started an Itunes account on my MacBook Pro then my wife purchased a MacBook with much larger HD so I copied from an external HD our "ripped from CD's" music to her computer and authorized it. She just bought an Iphone and now wants her own Itunes account on her computer. Of course when I open I tunes on her computer she is prompted to enter my username and password for Itunes. How do I get my wife her own Itunes account on her computer? We are pretty novice with navigating Itunes.

Tell your wife to go to this website and sign up for her own account: LINK

It may not be what you want but you can both use the same AppleID for purchasing (so you can both use the music/apps/books etc that you buy).

But you can also have another AppleID for iCloud etc.

So your wife can use her own AppleID on her phone for location services/iCloud - basically everything accept purchasing where she'd use yours.

Like I say, not for everyone but it does give a best of both worlds kind of solution
