Forced Upgrade with iCloud

You're really not being "forced" to do anything. If you would like the features/abilities of iCloud...then yes you need to upgrade.
But then with lots & lots of new features...many times you have to upgrade hardware, software, OS, all of the above.
You can certainly keep running OS 10.6.8...just no iCloud. No forcing!
