Mac G4 MDD Problems

My G4 MDD has a problem in the printer status, When I wish to print, if I attempt to change the page # I want to print, it closes down the printing status plus crashes the web browser (Safari, Firefox). I have to download the web browser and start all over again.
Also if I leave my G4 on with no activity for a 1/2 hour (+/-) it crashes, and the keyboard & mouse are off. Plus to shut the Mac off, I have to disconnect the power cord! HELP; I want to get this unit operational so I can sell it as I gave a early production G5 on the way!
