I know good prices of apple COMPUTERS, monitors... not so much.

I've been offered a 17" CRT Studio Display for anywhere from $25-$50... would this be a good investment?

I'm Currently Using a Dell LCD monitor which I... "found" on the street...It works, but that's about all it does... Not the best by any means, so I was wondering if this offer was a good one.

Thanks!

Sorry to tell you no it would not. CRT monitors are from the last century and well and truly past their use by date alas.

Also consider that some 17" CRT displays are heavier and bulkier than an Apple Cinema display. Take it only if he gives it to you for free. :)
