I have Telstra NBN (100/40mbps Fibre) and my issues is that on m Macbook Pro and iMac connected either wired I am maxing out at 35Mb/s however on my PC's (3 in total) wired I am getting the about 98Mb/s.

This is consistant through out the day and all the time. I am now thinking it has something to do with OS X and its networking setup.

Any ideas?

Slow Mac Internet throughput compared to PC.

Hi Scottb82,

Any solution to your problem with Slow throughput on your MAC (compared to PC)?

I am in a similar situation to you with BT Infinity (expected d/l 73Mbps; u/l 20mbps).

I have MacBook Pro 2011 with latest spec and Ethernet D/L is 23Mbps (WiFi D/L is 18Mbps). WiFi card is n-capable so should accommodate faster speeds!

On my 4 year old PC, Ethernet D/L is 70Mbps using Speedtest.net!!!

I have reset permissions, Hardware reset (holding Option,CMD,R & P), DHCP renew, etc.

Any Help appreciated....
