No you can't. iBooks used IDE drives, MacBooks use SATA drives.

Ahh...good catch...and very good answer!:)

@OP: That iBook drive would be fine as an external USB drive...but no good as an internal (as Stretch mentioned).

you could use a firewire cable to connect the 2 though.
