Hi,

I am having this problem when I open a video sometimes it won't buffer at all, and I can't download files by clicking on a link, I have to right click on it and press "download file to…"

Is there a fix for this. I am running the latest Lion and safari

When this happens, how many other things are running or open? And what are they?

Try resetting Safari (Safari > Reset Safari...). There's no guarantee that this will work but it's a simple start.
