Can I connect my PC to Mac with ethernet to use Mac's wireless internet connection?

I have connected my PC running windows 7 to the MacBookPro (OSX 10.5.8 - leopard i think) with an ethernet cable and would like to get internet connected on the PC using the Mac's connection. Is this possible?

I have allowed internet sharing in my mac's control panel options.
