Hello all,
This is my first message on mac-forums and I have a question for you: I am an engineer who is using my laptop for heavy computational calculations and I am planning to but a Mac pro soon (I still use Windows XP operating system now since it is the most stable one among all Windows versions). The main problem is:
The equivalents of the versions of the softwares that I need dont exist for MAC OS. So I will go on using them in XP. "For this purpose I will use VMware software to run XP in Mac OS". Do you think that I will be able to use all the softwares I was using in XP without any problems in this case? And will they work as efficient as they were in the past since I am using both of the operating systems at the same time?
