MacBook Pro batery life

HI All,

I just purchased a MacBook Pro but i am not getting proper battery response...it is running around 4 hrs.
Let me know the conditions when it will run as per the standards.

Depends on your usage. I get about 4 hours, but that's while connected to the Internet, heavy web usage and fairly heavy video viewing. Less video and Internet activity, due to heat and the radio transmitter/receiver in the wireless, will lengthen battery life.
