Will this work with an airport express?
Wi-Fi base stations: Setting up and configuring a roaming network (802.11 a/b/g/n)

Basically, airport extreme is in the basement.

I get a good signal upstairs (ranch) except in the farthest bedroom. What I would like to do is connect an airport express to a LAN port I have in my living room on the main floor and use that to extend my wireless range. I suppose I could just use the wireless bridge mode, but I figure if I have gigE there, might as well use it.

Thoughts?

It should work. From what I've heard also known as a back fed network. Rather than hoping from access point to access point, the network is extended from ethernet but still utilizing the same SSID which reduces hops and latency yet still provides the seamless coverage.
