itunes compelations grouping

i have a couple compilations on my computer and when i load them into itunes, they're all scattered among the artists. in the itunes preferences it says that you can group the songs that in compilations, but even with that checked, they're not grouped together. i know this may be a dumb question and i may be missing something, but is there a way to get these grouped together other than arranging my music by album?

I think you'll have to find every song in the compilation, ctrl+click and get info, and check the box that says "Part of a Compilation" on each song.

I'm not sure, but I believe that's it.

i did that and then i went back and checked on each of them to make sure that they were in a compilation with the same album name and they're still not grouped.
