So I'm trying to install Final Cut Pro (I believe it is v6.5) on my iMac which is running Snow Leopard (10.6.8).
I pop in the install disc and it sits there for about 15 seconds. After that, there is no sign of it being recognized on the computer. After, it ejects the disc.
When I pop in a DVD with a couple pictures loaded onto it, the disc drive reads it fine.
I also put the install disc in a different iMac running a slightly earlier version of OSX. It thinks it's either Leopard or just an earlier version of Snow Leopard.
Does it have to do with final cut? That doesn't make sense. I don't think it even reads the install disc, it just ejects after while...
Any ideas on why?
