Hi,

Does anyone know what the voltage and amperage of a macbook screen is?
Is it AC or DC.

Also, there are 3 wires that come out of the end of the screen. I guess 1 is for earth??

I need to power a few screens separately from the logic board.

If anyone knows where I can find this information I would greatly appreciate it.

OK I know now that it is dc. The power comes through the video cable. don't know what the voltage is. I have a DC adaptor that can push out 6, 9, or 12 V but the video cable has 15 pins or so I don't know which ones carry the power. Can anyone help?
