Ok here is the problem we are using an application like Dropbox that allows us to place files online and then other users can view these files. We have PDF’s uploaded to this service, and then when we try to download these files and view them with Adobe reader the text is all garbled. The text is not readable, instead the text looks like the formatting style you can see the type of font it is using and the style sheet and computer marking. So instead of having text it will have Font= Times New Roman 10 CCS Style Sheet, so forth and so on. Sort of like viewing the HTML code on a webpage, your browser does not show you the HTML it just shows you what the HTML does, that is what is happing here. Now this only happens on a Mac, on a Windows system the same PDF opens fine. And when the user prints out the PDF on a Mac whatever she sees on the screen (Garbage) it prints out, but the opposite is true for Windows. And any other PDF she receives work fine, for instance if I give her a PDF on a flash drive for example it opens and prints fine, but when she receives files from this drop box type service they are not. Do you think there is something wrong with the drop box type of service that is causing the PDF to appear like it is?
