Hey , i use Final Cut Pro and After Effects heavily and my MacBook Pro handles extremely slow and laggy while editing especially with green screen and heavy effects.
My specs are
NVIDIA GeForce 320M:
Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 320M
VRAM (Total): 256 MB
Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
8 GB RAM
250 GB with a RPM speed of 5400
Would either upgrading my hard drive to a 7200 RPM help at all?
Would buying an external hard drive , SSD / HHD with a firewire cable help at all?
I'm desperate to speed things up as i have a short film to make as my final piece and its going to be requiring heavy editing with a lot of footage , thanks
