Premiere elements, Mac or Windows.

I have just bought Adobe Premiere elements 10 for my Imac but I notice that it is only 64 bit on windows. Should I carry on using OSX or switch to Windows 7 that I have on a bootcamp partition.

What difference do you think it will make?

With windows as its 64bit i can use all the 12gb of ram that I have installed.
I think this will make a big difference.

And you think the 32-bit version can't use all 12GB of RAM because ...

Premiere elements for mac is 32Bit but the windows version is 64Bit. I know its a bit different with mac but I thought 32bit software could only use 4GB of ram, so If I use the windows version I will get the full 12Gb that I have on my Imac.

The point I meant to address less obliquely is that 32-bit programs on Macs can still "see" all the RAM you can put in them. Premiere Elements will be able to address all 12GB. I'm not sure where you got the idea that 32-bit programs can only address 4GB of RAM, but it's not true with Macs.
