I have a WD external hard drive and I would like to change the enclosure, I have seen some on ebay that have a light up apple logo on them and would love to use one of those.
In addition if I change the enclosure will it also change the connectors on the HDD itself? As you may know the connectors on the WD hard drives are very temperamental.

Product info: WDBABM0010BBK-00

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Chris,

Changing the enclosure will void your warranty. However, if you're not concerned about that, as long as the enclosure is compatible it should work. By compatible I'm referring to whether or not the drive is SATA, ATA, etc. The internal connectors should be the same provided the enclosure is the correct one for the drive.
